John Frusciante aime les chats

Extrait d'une interview de John Frusciante avec Jack Osbourne pour MTV en 2003:
JO: "Quelqu'un veut lâcher un chat et un chien d'un hélicoptère. Lequel essayerez-vous d'attraper ?"
JF: "Un chat. Les chiens aboient trop. Ils me rendent fou."
JO: "Ouai, je n'ai jamais eu de chien, de chat, pendant un moment, mais ensuite nous en avons eu un et j'ai vraiment un peu... les chats sont biens..."
JF: "Je suis entré comme dans des états de communications avec les chats où... je sais que j'entendais leurs voix dans ma tête, et nous nous sommes assis ensemble et avons discuté les uns avec les autres, comme moi avec un chat là, un chat là, et un chat là, et je pourrai rester assis comme ça pendant trois heures à parler avec eux avant de réaliser, je n'arrive pas à le croire, que j'ai parlé avec mes chats pendants trois heures.
J'ai besoin de pouvoir entendre la musique clairement et quand les chiens aboient, cela me rend vraiment fou."

JF: "A cat. Dogs bark too much. They drive me crazy."
JO: "Yeah, I has never had a dog, a cat, for a while, but then we got one and I really kind of.. cats are good..."
JF: "I've gotten into like communication states with cats where... I know I heard their voices in my head, and we sit around and have conversations with each other, like me and one cat there, one cat there, and one cat there, and I would sit there for like three hours talking to them before I realized, I can't believe, I've been talking to my cats for three hours.
I need to be able to hear music clearly and when dogs bark, it really drives me crazy."
